Where we are and how to get here

The office is at 118 Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue, the long avenue that runs along the left bank of the river through the Chugureti district, known for its restored nineteenth-century facades. Marjanishvili metro station on the Akhmeteli-Varketili line is the nearest station; from there the avenue is a short walk. Buses along the avenue and along the embankment stop nearby, and taxis and ride-hailing apps find the address directly. Parking on the avenue itself is limited, so drivers usually use the side streets or the embankment.

Clients from Vake, Saburtalo, Vera, Sololaki, Didube, Gldani, Isani and Varketili reach us by metro in under half an hour; clients from Rustavi, Mtskheta, Gori, Kutaisi, Batumi and the rest of Georgia, and clients abroad, use the online process described below and receive their documents by courier. Opening hours are standard office hours on working days; if you need to collect outside those hours or on a weekend, tell us when you order and we will arrange it where we can.

When you actually need to come in

For a certified translation delivered as a PDF, never. For a notarized translation, the original document must be shown to the notary once so that a certified copy can be made or the translation can be bound to the original; that is the one step that requires the physical document, and it can be done by you, by a relative or by our representative with your authorization. Many clients therefore send the scan first, approve the price and date, and come in only once to present the original and collect the finished package, or send the original by courier and receive it back with the translation.

Coming in is also useful when a situation is complicated: a Soviet-era certificate that may need a duplicate, a foreign document with an unclear legalization chain, a package for a strict destination, or a family file with a dozen documents and name spelling issues. Fifteen minutes at the desk with the originals often resolves what would take a long email exchange, and we can plan the apostille, translation and notarization sequence together. Interpreters for notarial signings, PSDA appointments and business meetings are booked from the same office and meet you at the venue.

How online orders work from anywhere

Send a clear photo or scan of every page to our WhatsApp number or email, or through the form on this page, with the target language, the place of submission and your deadline. Within working hours you receive a price and a completion date, usually within the hour. Once you confirm, the translation is prepared and reviewed. For a certified translation you receive a PDF by email, and paper copies by courier if you want them. For a notarized translation, you present the original at the office, have a relative do it, send the original by courier, or, when the original is abroad, use a copy certified and apostilled in that country; we tell you which of these works for your document. The notarized package is then collected at the office or delivered by courier within Tbilisi, to the regions or internationally.

Payment is by bank transfer, card or cash at the office, and by transfer or card for remote orders, with an invoice for companies. Clients abroad who need Georgian documents (a birth certificate duplicate, a criminal record certificate, an apostille, a Public Registry extract) can authorize us to obtain them on their behalf and translate them in one order, so that nothing requires a trip to Georgia.

What the office handles most often

The daily flow at the Tbilisi office is dominated by official documents: passports and ID cards of foreigners for PSDA, the Public Registry, banks and notaries; birth, marriage and criminal record certificates for visas and residence; diplomas and school certificates for universities abroad; powers of attorney in both directions; bank statements for visa files; company documents for foreign investors registering in Georgia; and medical certificates for treatment and employment. Around these we handle apostille assistance, the pre-marriage document sets of foreign couples marrying in Georgia, and interpreters for notarial signings and PSDA registrations, which is why the office is busiest on days when the notaries and the House of Justice are busiest.

Same-day and urgent documents

A standard one or two page document in a common language pair (a passport, a certificate, a criminal record, a short power of attorney) can usually be translated and notarized the same working day if the original reaches the office in the morning and the notary's schedule allows. Longer documents, rare languages, and anything that must first be apostilled take longer, and we say so when you send the file rather than at the end of the day. If you have an appointment at a notary, PSDA, an embassy or a bank tomorrow, send the document today, tell us the appointment time, and we will confirm whether it is achievable.

What slows a same-day order down is almost always the same: a missing page or reverse side, an original that is not available for the notary, a name spelling we cannot confirm, or a destination whose requirements nobody has checked. Bringing the complete document, the passports of the people named and any instructions from the receiving institution removes all four.
