Translation Bureau - How We Work

The translation process is divided into four clear stages - from receiving the document and the upfront assessment to final delivery. At every stage you know what is happening with your document, by when and at what cost.

Receiving and assessing the document

You can send the document by email, through the site form, by WhatsApp or bring it to the office. When you send it, state the language, the direction and the deadline you want - we will quickly come back with the price and the turnaround.

Choosing a specialist translator

The document goes to a translator experienced in that language direction and subject matter, so that the professional accuracy of the text is protected as fully as possible.

Translation and quality check

During translation attention goes to correct terminology, names, dates, numbers, formatting and style. The finished text is checked again and edited where needed.

Certification and delivery

The final version is delivered digitally and/or in print. Where needed, we organise the notarization of the translation, the apostille and any other related procedures.

  1. Checking every page and entry in the document
  2. Agreeing the price, the deadline and the service needed
  3. Translation and verification of names, dates and numbers

Accountability • Accuracy • Transparency

Who works on your document and how we control quality

Every order has a responsible manager, a translator for the relevant language direction and field and, where needed, a reviewing editor. The scope of work, the deadline, the price and the form of certification are agreed with the client in advance.

Legal identity and the responsible manager

The service is provided by sole trader Mariam Zumadze (ID 30601010853) under the service brand TARGMANEBI. Mariam Zumadze is the manager, with five years of experience and a legal education; she coordinates every type of order from intake to delivery.

Choosing the right translator

The translator is chosen not only by language but by the document's subject, its purpose, its format and the certification required.

  • Language pair and direction of translation
  • Legal, medical, technical or another field
  • Deadline, volume and final format

Checking names, numbers and terminology

Before delivery we check the content of the text as well as the official data and the structure of the document.

  • Name, surname and the agreed transliteration
  • Dates, numbers, sums and document codes
  • Field terminology, stamps, tables and the completeness of the pages

Corrections and feedback

If an inaccuracy on our side turns up in a delivered translation, we re-check it once notified and correct a confirmed error at no extra charge.

A later change to the source document, to the agreed spelling of a name or to the client's requirement is priced as separate work.

When we need the original

For an upfront price and deadline a clear photo or PDF of every page is usually enough. The original may be needed for a notarial procedure, certification of a copy, an apostille or a specific receiving authority's requirement.

We confirm whether the original is needed before the order starts.

Electronic and physical delivery

The electronic version of the finished translation is sent in the agreed format by email or WhatsApp. A stamped or notarized paper version can be collected at the Tbilisi office or delivered by an agreed courier.

Forms of certification

Bureau stamp, notarization and apostille

These are three different procedures. The form required is set by the country or authority receiving the document, so we recommend checking their exact requirement before ordering.

Certification with the bureau stamp

The translation carries the TARGMANEBI stamp and a confirmation that the document was translated and checked at the bureau. Whether this form is accepted is decided by each organisation under its own rules.

Notarization

If the notary knows both languages of the document, they can certify the accuracy of the translation. Otherwise the notary certifies that the translator's signature on the statement of accuracy is genuine. The translator is responsible for the accuracy of the translation. We prepare the translation and, where needed, organise the process with the notary.

Apostille or legalization

A document for submission abroad sometimes needs additional international certification. Whether an apostille or legalization is needed depends on the type of document, the issuing country and what the receiving authority requires.

Send us a clear photo or PDF of every page of the document and get the exact price, the turnaround and the information on certification.

Tips

Many people confuse the two. A notarial procedure may certify the accuracy of the translation or the authenticity of the translator's signature on a statement, while an apostille is used to confirm internationally that an official document is genuine.
