A translation bureau in Kaspi - TARGMANEBI's service for a town where companies often have to live in two languages: internal documentation in Georgian, reporting and policies in the language of the owner or partner. In that situation the most important thing is terminological consistency: the same process, position or procedure has to carry the same name in every document. We achieve this with a terminology base that we build together with the company's specialists and then use in every subsequent order. The courier travels to Kaspi regularly, and the electronic version reaches you as soon as it is ready.
Production, materials, standards
In the building materials sector a document is an integral part of the product - it is exactly what the buyer, the supervisor and the auditor check. Our main areas of work:
Technology
- Operating manuals for production lines and equipment
- Process regulations and process descriptions
- Control and automation system documentation
- Maintenance and repair instructions
- Specifications for parts and materials
Quality and compliance
- Laboratory test reports and methods
- Product declarations of conformity and certificates
- Quality management system procedures
- Audit reports and corrective action plans
- Environmental permits and monitoring data
Safety
- Occupational safety instructions and briefings
- Risk assessment and incident documents
- Safety data sheets for substances
- Emergency response plans
- Marking and warning texts
In such texts figures and standards are decisive: values and units are checked against the original separately, while the designations of standards and methods stay unchanged, because it must be possible to look them up in the primary source. Large volumes of documentation are delivered in stages so that the production or certification schedule is not held up, and all texts for one plant are handled with a single glossary.
Corporate governance and compliance
When a company has a foreign owner or partner, a separate layer of documents appears that does not directly concern production but defines the company's life: decisions of the partners and supervisory bodies, internal statutes and regulations, the code of ethics, anti-corruption and compliance policies, conflict of interest declarations, personal data protection procedures, internal audit reports. These texts move in both directions: the owner's policy has to become available to employees in Georgian, while local reports and procedures have to be in the owner's language. In this work the key point is that the wording must not lose its legal force: an obligation, a prohibition and a recommendation are three different things and must stay that way in the translation.
Staff and HR documentation
For a large employer, personnel documentation is everyday work, and part of it needs translation. We translate employment contracts and their annexes, job descriptions, internal rules, descriptions of incentive and appraisal systems, training material and safety briefings. For foreign specialists we prepare Georgian versions of their diplomas, certificates and statements with notarization, which are needed for employment and permits. Confidentiality is especially important in this area: salaries, appraisals and personal data are closed information for us, and only the translator and editor working on the project have access to it.
Agriculture and local small business
Alongside large-scale production, Kaspi municipality has orchards, vineyards and family farms, as well as small trading and transport businesses. Their needs are different but no less specific: veterinary and phytosanitary certificates, supply contracts, instructions for fertilisers and treatments, manuals for imported farm machinery, applications to state and international programmes. We usually complete such orders quickly, and we often advise a small business to prepare a one-off standard package - a bilingual contract template, a product description and a commercial offer - that will then work for years and only need its data updated. This approach protects the budget and, most importantly, starts the conversation with a partner at a professional level.
We handle separately the cases when foreign specialists come to a site - for equipment commissioning, scheduled repairs or training. Interpreting is often needed then as well, and we need advance notice so that the interpreter is on site at the agreed time. If we receive material in advance - diagrams, part of the manual or a list of terms - the result is incomparably better than with an interpreter who arrives unprepared.
Languages in orders from Kaspi
In Kaspi English is the main language of corporate and technical communication, German of European equipment and partners, Russian of older documentation and regional suppliers, Turkish of the construction market and materials, Chinese of machinery and parts, Italian of production lines. For other directions - French, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Greek, Dutch and Arabic - an order is planned individually.
The process for companies and private clients
Material and context
Files to info@targmanebi.ge, urgent orders by WhatsApp to 501 113 200; bulky documentation should ideally come with a short note on who it is intended for.
Agreeing the terminology
We agree the list of technical and corporate terms with your specialists - this is done once and serves every subsequent document.
Translation, editing, control
A subject-specialist translator and an editor; numbers, standards and job titles are checked separately.
Delivery
Files by email, certified paper by courier to Kaspi. The completed work stays in the base for future updates.
Price, deadlines and confidentiality
In pricing, Kaspi is no different from the capital: the price is always by agreement and is set after we see the document. A short certificate is ready within the day, a test report in one or two days; an internal regulation or policy takes as long as its volume requires, and a bilingual contract up to three working days. A large technical book or an audit package is handled in stages, a foreign employee's papers with notarization are completed in three days, and for an apostille the authority itself sets the timing. With companies we work with on a standing basis, prices are agreed in advance, the glossary is kept, there is one contact and settlement happens once a month. Everything we read in your documents - technology, finances, people's data - stays with us, and for large projects we also sign a separate non-disclosure agreement. The owner of the bureau is Mariam Zumadze, sole trader, ID 30601010853 - a lawyer, whose profession comes in useful every day in exactly these corporate and contractual texts. A confirmed inaccuracy is corrected free of charge.
Does the owner's policy need to be made available to employees in Georgian? Need documentation in English before an audit? Has a manual for a new line arrived in a foreign language? Write to us from Kaspi - we will agree the terminology from the start.
Call: 501 113 200Frequently asked questions - translation in Kaspi
We have the owner's internal policies to translate. What should we pay attention to?
In such documents the key is modality: an obligation, a prohibition and a recommendation must be clearly distinct, because disciplinary consequences depend on them. We fix the terms once and use them identically in every policy, so that employees find one consistent system.
The technical manual is very large and the deadline is short.
The first step is the list of terms, then the text is split between translators and delivered to you chapter by chapter - so work on site does not wait for the last page of the book. At the end an editor checks the whole file for consistency. Often a full translation is not needed at all - only the chapters you actually use.
An audit is coming and we have to submit documents in English.
Tell us the exact date and we will build the schedule backwards from it, bringing in several translators if needed with a shared base. We handle corrective action plans and procedures with particular care, because those are exactly what an auditor reads in detail.
We have hired a foreign specialist. What needs to be translated?
Their diploma, certificates, work experience and medical certificates into Georgian, with notarization - for employment and the permit; and the employment contract, internal rules and safety instructions into their language. If a document carries an apostille, that is translated too.
How far can we trust you with staff data?
Salaries, appraisals and personal data are closed information for us; only the translator and editor working on the specific project have access. If your internal rules require it, we sign a separate confidentiality agreement.
We ship products abroad. What language should the certificates be in?
Usually English or the language of the importing country - it depends on who checks the document. Our stamp is enough for the commercial part, while an official certificate may need notarization or an apostille, as required. If you have the buyer's list of requirements, send it to us and we will fit the documents to it.
Can a private individual come to you, or do you only work with companies?
Of course they can - a diploma, a certificate, a medical document, a power of attorney or any other paper is handled with the same care. The courier travels to Kaspi regularly, so nobody needs to leave town.
