A translation bureau for Khulo - TARGMANEBI's service for a place where geography itself dictates how the work is done. Khulo's communities - Ghorjomi, Skhalta, Didachara, Khikhadziri, Dekanashvilebi - are far from one another, and further still from Batumi, and in winter the pass makes the road even harder. So for Khulo a translation starts on the phone and ends on the phone - a photo sent from wherever there is signal, the file back in the same chat; we take care of the notary and the apostille, and the courier brings the paper original up into the mountains or it waits for you in Batumi.
Three themes recur in orders from Khulo. The first is labour migration to Turkey and Europe and the family documents that go with it. The second is eco-migration: because of landslide and avalanche risk, many Khulo families have resettled in Kakheti and Kvemo Kartli, and the documents for their land, houses and compensation often have to be agreed with family members abroad. The third is the Goderdzi resort and the Beshumi summer season, which need material in foreign languages. All three have one thing in common: the document is in Khulo, while the office is somewhere else entirely - in Batumi, in Tbilisi or abroad - and our job is to make that distance disappear.
Family documents from Khulo - Turkey and Europe
Most Khulo families have someone abroad, and that connection is governed by documents. Going to Turkey: a certificate of marital status for marriage, a birth certificate, work permit papers; coming from Turkey: a marriage certificate, the certificate of a child born there, an employment contract and a salary statement. Going to Europe - Germany, Poland, Italy - the same documents with an apostille and in the right language, and coming back, foreign contracts, tax statements and social insurance records for a Georgian bank and the Pension Agency.

Eco-migrants' land, houses and compensation
Many Khulo families live in two places: the old house is in the mountains, the new one in the lowlands, and part of the family is abroad. When a mountain plot is sold, compensation is arranged or an inheritance is divided, they need a power of attorney or consent from the co-owner abroad - drawn up by a notary there, apostilled and translated into Georgian. In the other direction, a relative abroad needs the Public Registry extract and the contract in a language they understand, so they know what they are agreeing to. One family's papers accumulate over years - a power of attorney today, a registry extract in spring, a certificate of inheritance next year - and the same people must appear everywhere, spelled with the same letters. That is why we keep a Khulo family's file with one and the same translator and compare old translations with the new one.
Eco-migrant compensation and resettlement documents often include state programme forms that a family member abroad has to read and sign. We translate these forms into a language they understand for information only - without certification, quickly and inexpensively - and their reply, consent or refusal, we then prepare with notarization for the Georgian authority.
Goderdzi, Beshumi and tourism texts
The Goderdzi ski resort in winter and the season of Beshumi and the alpine meadows in summer bring Khulo foreign guests - from Turkey, Israel, Ukraine and Europe. The resort's hotels, cottages, ski schools and guides need, in English, Russian and Turkish, hotel descriptions for booking platforms, price lists and package terms, slope safety rules and instructor contracts, menus, equipment rental terms and contracts with tour operators. Such texts are prepared without certification; before the season - in November and June - orders increase, so send us your material a month ahead. Foreign guests at the resort have medical incidents too - after an injury on the slope, the certificate and invoice from a Batumi clinic have to be translated for their insurance company; we prepare such a document in one day, before the guest leaves.
Languages in orders from Khulo
In Khulo Turkish comes first - because of family ties, work and the resort's guests. German, Polish and Italian are the languages of European employment, English and Russian those of the resort and of general-purpose documents. With resort guests Ukrainian and Arabic also come up, and with people working in Greece, Greek; Czech, Dutch, French, Spanish and Chinese are rare from Khulo but handled the same way. For a document in Hebrew, please call us in advance.
How an order from the mountains works
A photo when you have signal
Every page and the back side, in daylight. By WhatsApp or by email to info@targmanebi.ge, whenever you have internet. You get a reply during working hours, the same day.
Where and by when
The country or authority and the deadline. If the document is for an embassy, send us its checklist too - we will prepare the package in one go.
Price, deadline, go-ahead
We tell you what it will cost and when it will be ready; after your "yes" the translator starts. We take care of the notary and the apostille - the original is only collected for the apostille.
Paper in the mountains or by the sea
You receive the file in the chat. The courier takes the printed, certified version up to Khulo or hands it over in Batumi - whichever you prefer; if you come to Tbilisi, we are waiting at the office.
In winter, when the pass closes or the road becomes difficult, we fit the courier's visit to the weather and, if you wish, keep the original in Batumi until you can come down. By then you already have the electronic version, and many authorities accept it in the first instance.
Price and who is responsible
The mountains do not raise the price: a client in Khulo pays on the same terms as one in Tbilisi, and the price is by agreement, set after we see the document - which language, how many pages, which document, whether a notary is needed. The only thing listed separately is the courier's trip up, and it is paid once for several documents from one family. A one-page certificate is translated by the next working day, the notary adds one or two days, and the apostille depends on the type of document. TARGMANEBI is the brand of the sole trader Mariam Zumadze (ID 30601010853, legal education, five years of experience); she follows every order from receipt to delivery, and any mistake of ours is corrected free of charge.
Whichever village of Khulo you are in - send us a photo of the document whenever you have signal. We will tell you the price and deadline the same day, and you will receive the certified original by courier in Khulo or in Batumi.

In winter, when the pass is closed, will the courier come to Khulo?
The road to Khulo from the Batumi side stays open in winter too, but we fit the courier's day to the weather. If the road is difficult, we keep the original in Batumi until you can come down, and send you the electronic version as soon as it is finished.
I am an eco-migrant; the papers for the old house are in Khulo and I live in Kakheti. Where should the courier come?
Wherever you like - to Khulo to collect the original and to Kakheti to deliver the finished document, or the other way round. Give both addresses when ordering; the translation is prepared from a photo and the original only travels for the apostille.
How do I certify the certificate of a child born in Turkey for a school in Khulo?
With a notarized Georgian translation of the Turkish original bearing an apostille. The child's name is written consistently with the Georgian documents; send a photo of the parent's ID card along with the certificate.
I need the description and prices of a Goderdzi cottage in three languages. Can that be done together?
Yes - one order, three languages, one deadline. The English, Russian and Turkish versions are prepared from one source, so prices, place names and terms are written the same way everywhere. No certification is needed.
My husband works in Germany and his salary statement is going to a bank in Khulo for a loan. What form is needed?
Ask the bank branch in Khulo whether the bureau stamp is enough or a notary is required - both practices exist. Your husband can send us a photo of the statement directly from Germany; we translate it into Georgian and certify it in the required form, and the courier brings you the paper for the bank in Khulo.
Will a diploma from the vocational college in Khulo be accepted for work in Turkey?
For an employer - yes, with a Turkish translation and an apostille; for state recognition, the relevant Turkish authority runs an additional procedure, which the employer will tell you about. We translate the diploma and supplement together, and the name of the profession is rendered with the term from the Turkish classification, so the employer recognises the qualification directly.
The document is handwritten and the stamp is blurred. Can it be translated?
First we see what can be read. The clear part is translated, and anything unclear is marked with a note - nothing is written on the basis of a guess. If needed, we ask you for a new close-up photo of the unclear spot, not of the whole document.
