A translation bureau for Tsaghveri - TARGMANEBI's service for a settlement where there is almost always a family behind the order. Such cases need both accuracy and tact: the child's name, date of birth and the parent's details must be identical in all three documents, while the details of the case - who lives where, why guardianship is being arranged - stay with us. Our office is in Tbilisi, and in Tsaghveri everything is closed remotely: from sending a photo to certified paper brought by courier. Borjomi is fifteen minutes from here, and the courier runs the Borjomi - Bakuriani route every week.
The child here, the parent abroad
This is the most frequent situation in Tsaghveri. A parent works in Italy, Greece, Germany, Turkey or Poland, and the child lives here with the grandparents or a relative. Documents then move in both directions:
From abroad to Georgia
- A parent's notarized power of attorney in the name of a grandmother or relative
- Consent to medical treatment of the child
- A certificate from the workplace and proof of income for the court
- A foreign marriage or divorce certificate
- A copy of a residence or work permit for family reunification
From Georgia abroad
- The child's birth certificate with an apostille and translation
- A school certificate and report card for a foreign school
- The vaccination record and medical history
- A grandmother's or guardian's consent to the child's travel
- Social service certificates and guardianship documents
Other family matters
- Child support decisions from both countries
- Inheritance cases where an heir is a minor
- House and land documents in which the child has a share
- Bank documents for transfers and opening an account
- Papers for consular registration of a birth
The most frequent mistake in these documents is the spelling of the name: the child appears one way on the Georgian certificate, in Latin letters at the foreign school, and the parent's passport may use yet another form. With the very first order we settle on one version, based on the valid document, and use it on every later paper for the family. This small detail decides whether an authority accepts the document the first time.
Camps, sanatoriums, groups
Tsaghveri's climate - pine forest and mineral water - continues the tradition of children's holidays and recovery stays. Camps and holiday homes need documents of their own, especially when a group comes from abroad or from the diaspora: the programme and daily routine, a parent's informed consent form, safety rules, notes on allergies and regular medication, insurance terms and, where needed, a medical referral. These texts have to be simple and unambiguous - a parent reading them in another country cannot live with ambiguity. We offer a complete camp set: the Georgian original and one or more foreign versions in one style, which can be reused the next season with only the dates updated.
Health, climate and medical texts
Tsaghveri's name became established together with health - for generations its mineral water and pine air were linked with treating the respiratory tract and with convalescence. Today that tradition also shows up as a flow of medical texts: a patient arriving from abroad, or a member of the diaspora, presents their test history in Georgian to a local doctor, and takes a description of the procedures done here back to their own doctor. Such translation demands accuracy in both directions: the wording of the diagnosis, the name and dose of the drug, the frequency of the procedure. A translator experienced in medicine works on such a text with a terminology table, and writes out in full the abbreviations often found in handwritten prescriptions, explaining them in a note. A separate case is certificates for a foreign insurance company, when the patient claims reimbursement for treatment received here - then the discharge summary and the bill go in one package.
Family guesthouses and small business
In Tsaghveri many families let their own house to guests. For them we prepare the guesthouse description, the list of rooms and services, check-in and check-out rules, the kitchen menu and house rules in the guests' languages. A separate line is correspondence with booking platforms and replies to guest complaints, where tone matters as much as content. These texts need no certification, only correct language and a natural style. For small businesses we translate the full package once and afterwards add only the changes, which is easier on the budget.
Languages in orders from Tsaghveri
Because of the family flow, the most frequent languages in Tsaghveri are Italian and Greek - the countries where most of our compatriots work - followed by German and Polish. English is the universal language with schools, banks and consulates, Russian with visitors and old documents, Turkish in employment contracts. We also work with Spanish, French, Dutch, Czech, Ukrainian, Arabic and Chinese.
Why a document gets sent back
In family matters the most painful moment is when an authority refuses a document and everything starts again - often just as the deadline runs out. Experience tells us that most such cases come down to a few causes. First, the name spelled differently across documents. Second, a missing apostille where one was mandatory - or, the other way round, an unnecessary procedure paid for for no reason. Third, a power of attorney written in general terms that does not cover the specific action: it gives the right to collect a document, for example, but is no longer enough when it comes to disposing of property. Fourth, an expired certificate, since some are valid for only a few months. So at the start of every order we ask one question - who will the document be submitted to - and where needed we tell you directly what to check with the recipient before we begin the translation.
How to order
A photo and a short explanation
Send a photo of the document by WhatsApp to 501 113 200 or to info@targmanebi.ge and tell us in two sentences who it is for - a school, a court or a consulate.
Matching the names
Please also send a photo of the child's and the parent's valid ID - we base the Latin spelling on them, so that every page matches the others.
Translation and certification
We translate, edit and certify in the form the recipient requires - with the bureau stamp or by a notary; if an apostille is needed, we arrange it.
Receiving it in Tsaghveri
The electronic version as soon as it is ready, the paper by courier on the Borjomi - Bakuriani route. We send a scanned copy directly to a parent who is abroad.
Price, deadlines and confidentiality
Tsaghveri has no separate tariff - it is served on the same terms as the capital, and the price is by agreement, set after we see the document. A power of attorney or consent with notarization is ready in two days, a birth certificate in two to three, a package of school certificates and reports in three days, a medical record and vaccination entries in two days, a set of camp materials depending on volume, and a document with an apostille within the procedure's timeframe. An urgent order is possible, and we tell you so from the start so that you are not left waiting. We share the details of family matters with no one - for us this is a professional obligation, not a promise; where needed we also sign a confidentiality agreement. The bureau is registered as a sole trader - Mariam Zumadze, ID 30601010853; her legal education helps the bureau with exactly this kind of family-law document, where one wrongly chosen term spoils a whole application. A confirmed inaccuracy is corrected free of charge.

Call: 501 113 200Frequently asked questions - translation in Tsaghveri
My daughter is in Italy and her child lives with me. She sent me a power of attorney - what do I do?
Show us a photo: we will check whether it has an apostille and whether it covers the powers you need. Then we translate it into Georgian and have it notarized. If something is missing from the text, it is better to find out now than after you get to the office.
I am taking a child abroad and the other parent is not here. What document is needed?
Usually a notarized consent from the other parent to the travel, and if that parent is abroad - drawn up there and apostilled. The document is translated into the destination country's language or into English; at the border a translation of the birth certificate is often requested too - we prepare both together.
We run a camp and foreign children are coming. Can the parents' forms be translated?
Yes - the consent form, safety rules, daily routine and medical questionnaire in the parents' language. We recommend doing the full set once: next season only the dates and prices change, which costs much less than a new translation every year.
The child's medical record is handwritten. Will that work?
Send us a photo - we work with handwritten entries, and mark any unclear passage with a note rather than guess. With a vaccination record the dates and vaccine names are what matter, and we check that part with particular care.
There is a child support case in court and the document is from Greece. Will you translate it?
Yes, Greek court decisions and certificates are translated into Georgian with notarization. Such a text is done by a legal translator, because the wording and the amounts have to come across exactly.
Can I sort everything out remotely?
Yes, if a notarized copy will do - you send us a photo, we translate it and return it by courier. We need the original only when an apostille is being added - and in that case the courier works in both directions too.
