A translation bureau for Kazreti - TARGMANEBI's service for a settlement where the quality of a document can affect people's safety. In mining, a vaguely worded instruction is not just a stylistic flaw - it becomes a real risk once people are working on site. That is why these texts are handled by a translator who knows the sector, and the terminology is fixed once and then used unchanged in every later document. Kazreti is an hour and a half from Tbilisi, the courier comes here regularly on the Bolnisi route, and the electronic version usually goes out the same day.
Production, equipment, laboratory
Documentation in the mining and processing sector falls into a few clear groups, each with its own requirements:
Equipment and processes
- Manuals for mining and processing equipment
- Process flow diagrams and production instructions
- Maintenance and repair schedules
- Spare parts catalogues and orders
- Correspondence and claims with suppliers
Laboratory and quality
- Sample analysis and test reports
- Methods and descriptions of international standards
- Calibration and equipment certificates
- Quality control procedures
- Audit and inspection reports
Commerce and contracts
- Supply and subcontracting agreements
- Tender proposals and qualification packages
- Equipment purchase and lease documents
- Insurance terms and insurance claims
- Invoices, acceptance certificates and customs documents
Accuracy in these texts rests on two things: figures and standards. Concentrations, masses, doses, temperatures and pressure readings are checked against the original at a separate stage, while the designations of international standards and methods stay unchanged - they are neither translated nor adapted, because an inspector or auditor has to be able to find the source directly. Large projects start with a terminology base and are delivered in parts, so you do not have to hold up the production schedule.
Occupational safety and staff
Safety documentation in the mining sector is a separate area of particular responsibility. We translate induction and briefing material, descriptions of safe working methods, risk assessments, emergency response plans, incident and investigation reports, and the texts of warnings and signage. In this material we keep to the principle of plain, unambiguous language: sentences are short, the action is stated directly, and ambiguity is ruled out. If workers on site speak another language, we prepare separate instructions for them in their native language - this is a legal requirement and, more importantly, it genuinely reduces the risk of injury. On the staff side there are also HR documents: the diplomas, certificates, medical certificates and employment contracts of foreign specialists, which are translated in both directions and as a rule need notarization.
Environment, community, reporting
Mining always sits at the centre of environmental and social reporting, and with international partners and lenders that reporting is done in English. We translate environmental impact assessments, air, water and soil monitoring reports, waste and tailings management plans, land reclamation projects, and social responsibility reports that describe the programmes carried out for the local community. Communication with the community is a separate area: information materials, minutes of public hearings, question-and-answer sheets. These texts have to work equally well in both languages - a foreign auditor and a local resident must receive the same information. So we prepare versions with different levels of detail, but in such a way that the factual content never changes anywhere.
Personal documents for Kazreti residents
Life in the settlement is not only about production, and some of our clients are private individuals. Workers and engineers go on professional development courses and need their certificates translated; families prepare their children's school documents; someone is going abroad to work and needs a Georgian version of the employment contract; someone else has medical documents to translate for treatment. We handle these orders with the same care as corporate ones - the difference is only in volume, not in the accuracy required. A personal document is often needed quickly: a one-page certificate is usually ready the same day, with notarization added the next day. If the document is going abroad, we check in advance whether it needs an apostille, so you do not have to do the same thing twice.
We handle requests for interpreting separately: equipment commissioning, a foreign auditor's visit, training with a supplier's specialists or a meeting with partners. For such an occasion, let us know a few days in advance so the interpreter is on site at the agreed time, and send us the material beforehand - diagrams, instructions or a list of terms. At a technical meeting, a prepared interpreter and one who arrives unprepared produce completely different results.
Languages in orders from Kazreti
In Kazreti English dominates completely - technical documentation, standards, audits and reporting are all in it. Russian is frequent in older equipment manuals, with regional suppliers and with staff, Chinese in documents for new machinery and parts, Turkish with construction and transport contractors, German and Italian in instructions for European equipment. Also available: French, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Greek, Dutch and Arabic.
How we work with companies
Send the material
Files to info@targmanebi.ge, urgent orders by WhatsApp to 501 113 200. Bulky documentation is best sent in editable format, so tables and diagrams are preserved.
Estimate and schedule
We assess the volume and propose a schedule with delivery in parts; urgent work runs in a separate stream so the planned project is not held up.
Terminology base and translation
We agree the terms with your specialists, then translate and edit; figures, units and standard numbers are checked separately.
Delivery and storage
Files by email, certified paper by courier to Kazreti. Completed work stays in our base, so an updated version is quicker to produce in future.
Price, confidentiality, official form
Kazreti is charged at Tbilisi rates, and the price is always by agreement once we have seen the document. A one-page certificate or invoice is done the same day, a laboratory report in one to two days, a safety instruction in two days, a bilingual contract within three working days, a technical book or environmental report in stages with parts agreed in advance, a foreign employee's package with notarization in three days, and an apostille takes as long as the procedure takes. We offer companies ongoing cooperation: agreed rates, a terminology base, one point of contact and one official invoice at the end of the month. Process information, laboratory results, tender prices and staff data remain commercial and personal secrets with us; at the client's request we sign a separate non-disclosure agreement. The bureau's brand is owned by the sole trader Mariam Zumadze (ID 30601010853), so work with a company is formalised with a standard contract and invoice - in the way your accounts department is used to. Any mistake on our side is corrected free of charge.
New equipment has arrived and you need the manual in Georgian? Preparing safety material for staff who speak another language? An environmental report has to go out in English? Write to us from Kazreti and we will build the schedule around your deadlines.

The technical manual runs to several hundred pages. How should we manage a project like that?
First we build a terminology base, then we divide the work and deliver it to you in parts - so installation or operation does not have to wait for the whole text to be finished. At the end an editor checks the complete document for consistency. Often translating only the chapters you actually need is enough.
There are workers on site who speak another language. Should we translate the safety briefing into their language?
Definitely - a safety rule only works when a person actually reads it. We translate briefing materials, warnings and action plans in short, unambiguous wording, and signage texts too where needed.
Our laboratory reports contain standard numbers and methods. Will they get lost?
No - the designations of standards and methods stay unchanged, as do units and figures, which are checked against the original at a separate stage. We also keep the table structure so the documents are easy to compare.
An audit is coming and we urgently need a package of documents in English.
In that case we split the project between several translators working from one shared glossary and process it in parallel. Tell us the exact date of the audit and we will plan the schedule backwards from it, so every part is ready ahead of time.
What rules apply to a foreign specialist's documents?
Their diploma, certificates and other documents are translated into Georgian with notarization, and if a document carries an apostille, that is translated too. In the other direction, the employment contract and internal regulations are prepared in their language - which benefits both sides.
What guarantee do we have on confidentiality?
On top of our professional obligation, we sign a confidentiality agreement if your internal rules require one. Only the team working on the project has access to the material, and process and financial data are never used anywhere, in any form.
