Translation Bureau in Tetritskaro

Tetritskaro is a green municipality close to Tbilisi - forest, the Algeti protected area, and villages where people from the capital buy dachas and more and more often settle for good. Property, inheritance and land are the most frequent topics here, and alongside them come eco-tourism, family farms and the affairs of relatives living abroad. One thing ties all of this together - a document that is often written in another language. TARGMANEBI serves Tetritskaro on these matters.

A translation bureau for Tetritskaro - TARGMANEBI's service for a municipality where much of the business involves property and where one of the parties is often in another country. In such cases everything depends on working remotely, and that is exactly how our process is set up: you send us a picture of the paper, we confirm the price and the deadline within working hours, the finished file arrives by email, and the courier brings you the notarized original. Tbilisi is less than an hour from Tetritskaro, so the courier runs a regular route here and we make it in time even in urgent cases.

Land, houses, dachas - buying and selling

A property deal most often stalls precisely when one of the parties is a foreigner or is abroad. The typical list of documents looks like this:

For the deal

  • Bilingual sale and lease agreements
  • Public registry extracts and cadastral documents
  • The foreign buyer's passport and certificates
  • Bank documents and source of funds statements
  • Powers of attorney when a party is not present

Inheritance

  • Powers of attorney and renunciations of inheritance issued abroad
  • Documents proving death and kinship
  • Foreign notarial deeds and court decisions
  • Georgian extracts for an authority abroad
  • Old Soviet-era ownership papers

Construction and fitting out

  • Construction contracts and cost estimates
  • Design documentation and technical specifications
  • Certificates for materials and equipment
  • Manuals for imported machinery
  • Handover certificates and claims

In this field the most frequent hold-up involves powers of attorney. A document executed abroad normally needs an apostille, then a Georgian translation with notarization, and only after that does it work at the registry. On top of that, the text has to state exactly which actions it authorises: some documents only allow the holder to collect papers, not to dispose of the property. So we advise showing us the text of the power of attorney before it is signed - often adding a few words is enough to save someone another trip to a notary abroad.

When one party to a deal cannot read Georgian, a bilingual version of the contract is the best solution: both texts in one document, with matching clauses - so at the moment of signing both parties know exactly what they are agreeing to.

Algeti park, eco-tourism, projects

The Algeti protected area and the forests of Tetritskaro give the region eco-tourism potential, which shows up in two types of text. The first is for guests: trail and route descriptions, safety rules, camping terms, presentations of hotels and family guesthouses, menus. Here the key thing is that the language sounds natural, because the guest is still choosing where to go. The second is institutional: grant applications, biodiversity studies, monitoring reports, training materials and memoranda written with donors and environmental organisations. In the latter, structure and indicators matter as much as language, so we keep the donor's framework in the translation. The whole project cycle, from application to final report, follows one terminology base.

Family farms and small businesses

The villages of Tetritskaro have beekeeping, fruit growing, dairy production and livestock farming, and being close to Tbilisi gives them good access to the market. The farms that look further ahead realise that the step into export starts with a document: laboratory analyses, certificates, a label meeting the destination country's requirements, a supply contract and a commercial offer. At the same time, equipment and materials often come from abroad - greenhouse systems, refrigeration equipment, fertilisers, crop treatments - and their instructions are needed in Georgian. Taking part in agricultural programmes is common too, and there the application and the report are written in English. We usually advise a small business to prepare one standard package that will work for years.

Study, medical and consular papers

Apart from property matters, there are plenty of ordinary everyday orders in Tetritskaro. School leavers and students prepare school certificates and diplomas for foreign universities, families prepare certificates for embassies and visa and residence packages, and patients need a medical history for a consultation with a doctor abroad or, the other way round, the reports from treatment abroad for a local doctor. Documents related to children form a separate group: a parent's consent to travel, school records, vaccination cards. Such orders are usually done in one to three days, and the main requirement is always the same - the same spelling of the name, and the form of certification the recipient asks for. That is exactly why we always start by asking where you will submit the document, not how many pages it has.

People often ask us how long work we have done is kept. The answer is simple - it stays with us, so a second copy of the same document or a new certification does not require translating it again; just call us and give the date or the name of the earlier order. This is especially useful for anyone who submits the same papers to several different institutions.

Languages in orders from Tetritskaro

In Tetritskaro English leads - property deals with foreigners, project documentation and tourism texts all go in it. Russian is frequent with buyers, older papers and family matters, German and Italian in diaspora and equipment documents, Greek in the affairs of families living abroad, and Turkish in building materials and business. We also work in French, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Dutch, Arabic and Chinese.

How ordering works

1

A picture of the paper

Send it by WhatsApp to 501 113 200 or by email to info@targmanebi.ge; for a deal, it is best to send the whole accompanying package at once.

2

Who you will submit it to

The registry, a notary, a foreign buyer or a donor - that decides the language, the style and the form of certification; if it is unclear, we will help you find out.

3

Translation and checking

A legal text is done by a translator with a legal specialisation; the plot area, cadastral code and amounts are checked separately against the original.

4

Receiving it

The file as soon as it is finished, the certified paper by courier to Tetritskaro, or at the Tbilisi office if you are coming in anyway.

Price, deadlines and guarantee

For Tetritskaro the terms are identical to the capital's, and the price is agreed after we see the document. A power of attorney or a one-page document with notarization is ready in two days, a bilingual sale agreement in two to three days, an inheritance package in three to four days, cadastral and design documentation depending on its length, tourism texts in two days, a grant application on an agreed schedule, and a document with an apostille allowing for the timeline of that procedure. Deal details, amounts and family matters are confidential information for us - this is a professional obligation, not just a promise. The bureau is headed by a lawyer - Mariam Zumadze, registered as a sole trader (ID 30601010853), for whom notarial and registration terminology is an everyday working language - which is exactly why we tend to notice when something is missing from a power of attorney before it is officially submitted. A confirmed inaccuracy is corrected free of charge.

Frequently asked questions - translation in Tetritskaro

I am selling a plot to a foreign national. What language should the contract be in?

The Georgian text is mandatory, and for the buyer a version in their language or in English - ideally both in one document, side by side. At the notary, when a party cannot read Georgian, an interpreter also has to take part; we offer that service too, by prior arrangement.

I am an heir, but I live abroad. How do I arrange everything?

Execute a power of attorney before a notary in your country, have an apostille placed on it and send it to us - we will prepare the Georgian version together with the notary, and then your representative can act at the registry. Show us the text before you sign: a necessary power is often missing.

In an old document the village name is spelled differently from today.

In the translation we keep the original entry and give the current name in a note. This is standard practice, and it is exactly what clears up the registry's additional questions, which can otherwise hold a case up for weeks.

We have a hotel near the park. How many languages should our texts be in?

Usually English and Russian are the base, and then we add the languages your guests actually come from. A well-polished Georgian original improves the quality of every translation, so we often start by offering to refine the original itself.

I have imported construction machinery and the manual is in a foreign language.

We will translate it - if needed, only the operation and safety chapters, which cuts the cost considerably. Such a text is done by a technical translator, and parameters and model numbers are checked separately.

I need a document urgently. How fast can you do it?

A one-page document is usually done the same day, and notarization the next day. Tell us the exact deadline and we will tell you from the start whether it is realistic - we do not make promises we cannot keep.
